Despite densely populated outskirt city area, responding to these natural good features, connect northward and southward to get sun by woods made tunnel. Using very common small size woods (max 120×180) of cedar which are produced in bulk nearby, we make this house simply and rationally. All wood frames are tightened three dimensionally by joints with simple steel bolts (M12), without using mechanical joints and screws which aren’t persistent and durable, and keep all unconcealed.

Also we use woods of air-drying which keeps natural color and scent and strength. Thin insulated wall cover the tunnel and, inside plywood made walls and floors are partitioning to harmonize daily convenience with the views, lights and winds and so on. Sun from south-side and roof skylight, illuminates woods frames and reflects internally to fill over the whole space with light. We try to make a space which has a sense of freedom and companionship with trees.
